Professional History

Venesia is a Senior Accountant at Allstate Insurance Company.  In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities in the Premium/Loss Closing Unit, she has organized and led a New Employee Mentor program in her department, participates in VITA and has acted as an Allstate Giving Campaign Coordinator for 3 years.  Additionally, she is very heavily involved in Allstate’s diversity efforts as a member of the One Finance Talent Diversity Council (TDC) – Diversity sub team.

NABA History

Venesia is a long time NABA member and supporter.  She has been the primary Allstate/NABA liaison since January 2010.   In this capacity, she works closely with representatives from all levels of NABA, including the NABA national office, Central region, and the Chicago chapter.  This also includes working with the Allstate leadership team and fellow NABA members in determining and coordinating Allstate’s sponsorship and participation in NABA events.

Venesia obtained her B.S. in Accounting from Chicago State University where she served as her NABA student chapter secretary from 2003-2004.  She was also the 2004 NABA Chicago and National NABA scholarship recipient.  She has a MBA with a specialty in Organizational Behavior from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
